There has been a number of changes in the driver line-up for this Saturday evening's race at Texas Motor Speedway since the entrant list was first released on Monday. For starters, Paul Tracy's time at AJ Foyt Enterprises came to a sudden end after his lack-luster showing at Milwaukee. He will be replaced in the #14 car by AJ Foyt IV; at least for now.

Not to fear, PT fans: As I have mentioned previously, he has a deal to drive for KVRT in the two Canadian rounds of the championship, so we will see him again at Edmonton & Toronto at the least.

Meanwhile, Team 3G, which failed to qualify at Indianapolis & didn't even show up at Milwaukee, has pulled rookie Stanton Barrett from the #98 machine in favor of Jaques Lazier (pictured), a veteran driver who has made 52 IndyCar starts over the past decade, with a win at Chicagoland in 2001 as his best result. Team owner Greg Beck says that 3G is still committed to Barrett & hopes to get him back into the car by season's end, but that they need Lazier's experince to help the squad "find it's feet" and become more competetive.

And then there is the ever-revolving door at Dreyer & Reinbold. Milka Duno will be back in the #23 car again this weekend, with Tomas Scheckter moving over to the #43 machine (driven by John Andretti at Indy).

Finally, Conquest Racing is back after sitting Milwaukee out, and Alex Tagilani is once again behind the wheel.

The Bombarider-Learjet 500k will be run on Saturday at 9pm ET/1am GMT. The race should be available via live video streaming at indycar.com.
