Pick 3 Competition

The traffic stats say that a fair number of you have been have been reading this site: and I'm assuming that a few of you have been doing so regularly. Therefore, in an effort to A) keep your interest, B) get you to watch as much of the '09 IndyCar season as possible & C) join in the forum board discussion, I am inviting everyone to participate in a season-long Pick 3 competition.

For those unfamiliar with the concept, here is how it works:

Prior to each race day, you tell me which drivers you think will finish 1st, 2nd & 3rd. You get 5 points for 1st, 3 for 2nd & 2 for 3rd if your picks are correct. You get 1 point if any of your picks finish in the top 3, but not in the exact position that you selected. In addition, each week I will ask a bonus question (such as; Where will Danica Patrick finish in this race? - 1st-5th, 6th-10th, etc...), worth 1 point.

You will have until 1 hour prior to the start of each event to submit your picks: Any sumbitted later than that will be invalid.

Last year I went on a little shopping expedition (at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway gift shop) for the winner. I will have to get back to everyone later on whether or not I will be in a position to do so again this October - the company that I work for has been feeling the effects of the current economic slump -, but I hope that you will play for the fun of it if for nothing else.

I will start a new thread (which I will make "sticky" so that it will be easy to find) on the Wednesday or Thursday preceeding each race weekend. The thread for this weekend's race at St. Petersburg FL. is already there, awaiting your picks.
