'09 Indy Lights Schedule
By Andrew Cutler
August 17 2008
The Indy Racing league has released the (tentative) 2009 schedule for the Firestone Indy Lights Series, the main "feeder" series for drivers wishing to advance to the IndyCar Series one day. The fifteen race campaign will include eight road/street & seven oval races.
The series will make it's first ever forays outside of the States, with two races being held in Canada. There will also be the first - of, hopefully, many - appearence on the streets of Long Beach, CA. Some of the dates and times have still to be finalized, and so a two date "window" is all that the IRL can commit to at the moment.
Here is the schedule as it stands now:
2009 Firestone Indy Lights schedule:

| April 5 | Streets of St. Petersburg |

| May 22 | Indianapolis Motor Speedway |
| May 30 or 31 | Milwaukee Mile |
| June 20 or 21 | Iowa Speedway |

| July 11 or 12 | Streets of Toronto |
