STR-Renaut in 2014?

The widely respected German periodical Auto Motor und Sport is reporting that Scuderia Toro Rosso is set to end their engine supply relationship with Ferrari at the end of the 2013 F1 season. The squad from Faenza will then reportedly switch to a Renault powerplant.
A large factor in this move is the expected price savings on the engines themselves, which could more than double in cost by some estimates when the 2014 V6 specs come online. There is also the chance to pinch pennies by 'doubling up' with sister squad Red Bull Racing, who already partner with Renault, on such compatible items as gearboxes, hydraulics and KERS systems.
