Disappointed
After the 'high' of the Shanghai result, scuderia Toro Rosso had to endure a rather difficult weekend in Bahrain, where neither driver could quite find the optimum set-up for their car on Saturday. This lead to a long and difficult Sunday, with both men starting from mid-pack.

Friday Practice Recap
Now that the excitement of a great result from China has been put behind them, it is time for the Scuderia Toro Rosso squad to get back down to business. The Friday practice sessions at Bahrain found the team back in the mid-teens in the timesheet order, so a repeat of Shanghai is not going to be a matter of course.

Ricciardo's Best GP - So Far...
Daniel Ricciardo had his best Grand Prix yet of his (hopefully still) young F1 career on Sunday in Shanghai, finishing in the seventh spot: The same as where he started. Q3 For Riccardo: More To Come?
For the first time since Bahrain last April, Scuderia Toro Rosso has guided Daniel Ricciardo through to the final round of the knock-out qualifying format. Malaysia: A Point - And A Fine
Scuderia Toro Rosso had to take the bad with the good at Sepang on Sunday. Both drivers showed well amongst the mid-field pack, but early damage to Daniel's car & an unsafe pit box release of JEV's would curtail the squad's hopes of gaining the best possible results out of the race.

Sepang Qualifying Recap
Timing is everything in qualifying. Not only do you have to worry about the clock, you have to worry about how the other teams are reacting to it. One misstep could cost you a shot at a clear run for your driver, as Scuderia Toro Rosso found out today in Sepang.

Understanding Tires More Important - Today
If Scuderia Toro Rosso didn't exactly burn up the time sheets in the two Friday practice sessions, it was an acceptable trade-off to make in an effort to see how the STR8 would react to the Pirellis on offer this weekend in Sepang. The attitude in the garage was; "If we apply what we've learned today successfully, then the speed will come on Saturday".
