Honda: Edouard Michelin will be sorely missed

Following Edouard Michelin's tragic death on Friday, Honda Racing F1's Chief Executive Officer Nick Fry has offered Honda's sympathies.

"On behalf of the Honda Racing F1 Team and all our partners, I would like to express our deep sadness at the news of Edouard Michelin’s tragic death yesterday.

"Since we formed our F1 technical partnership with Michelin in 2003, we have enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Michelin and Edouard, who was a man that loved sport and encouraged both technical excellence and equality of support for all Michelin equipped competitors in the company that he so ably led.

"He will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with Edouard's family and everyone at Michelin worldwide at this difficult time."
