Italy: Sato's ready to fight. Maybe.

BAR Honda's Takuma Sato will fight hard for a podium finish in today's Italian Grand Prix. Or he won't, depending on how fast the competition is.

"It depends on circumstance," said Takuma just moments before the race. "If we are fighting for position in a good mood then I'll fight," explaining that if his car is competitive, there's every reason to go wheel to wheel with the competition.

"If there's a ridiculously different speed difference," he adds, "there's no reason why because if you defend too much you lose the time, so we'll see."

We'll find out the answer in the next 75 minutes.
