France: Takuma Sato keen to perform

Takuma Sato arrives at Magny Cours keen to put the first half of the season behind him, and intending to finally get some points on the score board.

"We showed the potential of the car at the last two races," said Sato. "Although we were running a very different set-up package to the one we need at Magny Cours, we are confident that we should be strong there."

The team recently took all four drivers, as well as BAR Young Driver Development Programme member Adam Carroll, off to Jerez for a three day, two car test. Despite suffering an engine failure, the team managed to top the times.

"We are carrying forward many positive aspects from the Jerez test this week," added Takuma. "I believe that we can reproduce the performance and be as competitive as we were in North America and I am very positive going to the race next week."
