Lucky Strike BAR Honda's Anthony Davidson finished at the top of the time sheets after a day's testing at Monza with Enrique Bernoldi, while Takuma Sato and Jenson Button sat at Silverstone watching the rain clouds.
Today's Silverstone test was quickly cancelled, with the team to make an early morning decision tomorrow on any further running. In the meantime, the team's other drivers got some laps in at Monza, alongside Ferrari, Toyota and Sauber.
Test driver Enrique Bernoldi completed 124 laps, setting a best time of 1:22.614, just under a second clear of ex-BAR racer Jacques Villeneuve's Sauber. Reserve driver Anthony Davidson completed 112 laps in the 007, managing to top the sheets with a 1:21.490, 0.855 seconds ahead of Ferrari's Marc Gene. Jarno Trulli's Toyota took third place, just under a tenth of a second ahead of Bernoldi.
The team may run at Silverstone tomorrow, before continuing at Monza on Friday. However, if the typically British summer weather continues as it does, tomorrow's running will move to the Italian circuit.
