Both Jenson and Takuma successfully ran through their full programmes in the afternoon session. Jenson completed longer tyre runs over a further 73 laps, which took his final lap tally for the day to an impressive 127 laps in the new 007 car. He set the third fastest time of the day - a 1:11.267.
Takuma concentrated on shorter runs after lunch evaluating new tyre compounds. He completed 79 laps, totalling 132 laps for the day and setting a time of a 1:11.396.
