Canada: Crescent Street Festival

For the fifth consecutive year, Honda will be at the heart of the Crescent Street Festival in downtown Montreal, which will be opened by BAR Honda drivers Jenson Button and Takuma Sato on Thursday 10th June.

Honda Canada will be hosting a main feature of the festival on Friday 11 June in the lead-up to the race, a public charity auction in an effort to raise over $60,000 for the Montreal Rehabilitation Institute, a short-term hospital specialising in physical rehabilitation. The auction will be held from 5.15pm to 6.15pm on Crescent Street itself, as part of the festivities surrounding the Grand Prix. Honda is supporting the innovative institute for the fifth year running, aligning its reputation as a provider of technically enhanced mobility with the aims and work of the organisation.



A wide range of special Honda Formula One items to entice F1 fans will be up for bids from the public at the event. Chief among these, two limited edition Honda scooters sporting the Lucky Strike BAR Honda livery headline the collection, which will be signed on stage by both Jenson Button and Takuma Sato, together with a VIP trip to the British Grand Prix and a factory tour of BAR's headquarters in the UK. Completing this leading line-up of auction lots are Jenson Button's race suit and gloves, both signed by the British star, and a driver-signed rear wing element from last year's BAR Honda 005 F1 car also goes under the hammer.
