Anthony Davidson forced out of test

The Lucky Strike BAR Honda team are testing at the Paul Ricard circuit in France this week, but things haven't got off to an easy start.

Following Jenson's eye troubles on Sunday, it was Anthony Davidson's turn to suffer some medical problems. Following some unusually heavy braking, Anthony trapped a nerve in his back, requiring the medical team to remove him from the car.

A quick check at a local hospital showed there was no lasting damage but, with Jenson Button not due to arrive until tomorrow, the team had to call a halt to the test.

Anthony had only completed 10 laps before gearbox problems stopped the test initially.
