Formula One is all about fast movement, spectacular cars, and bright imagery. But what happens when you take an alternative look at the sport? Here we present our take on the glamorous world of F1, with BAR ART.

Nosecones lined up, Villeneuve's is nearest the camera.


A hot tyre picks up marbles on the return to the pits.


Air tanks waiting, dials expectant.


Brake discs at rest. They save the glowing for the track.


All eyes left, the pit crew wait, ready to service the next BAR in.


Hot gases, cold exhausts. Proof that 10 into 2 will go.


Strike one! Front wing elements stacked up produce no downforce.


Front suspension geometry is a science and an art.


The BAR code easily identifies where we are.


The engine cover details the car. Jacques drives this one.


The wishbone supports 5 tons of force, yet you could snap it with your foot.


Used in anger for just 4 seconds a race, the wheel gun keeps the BAR moving.


The rear wing generates downforce, but also generates much needed revenue.


Eyes front, ready and waiting. The pit crew are essential. Don't upset them.


A worn tyre, a low sun, and a hot lap time.


They're Michelin's now, but the routine tasks will still need completing.


Ready for Button, the drivers gloves are laid over the slender bodywork.


Sponsorship is everywhere. Even the team crew are mobile billboards.
