Jenson's a future Champion, says Williams

Sir Frank Williams thinks that Lucky Strike BAR Honda's lead driver, Jenson Button, is a champion of the future. He just needs to be in the right team...

"Jenson did himself a power of good last year. He got serious. He really got his head down," Williams told The Telegraph. "He was in a very happy, balanced and fair environment, and was treated very well."

While the environment helped, there's no doubt that Jenson himself made the step forward that he's always been promising. "Jenson worked the rest out for himself," continued the Williams team boss. "There is no question that he can build on that maturity."

"He is a world champion of the future. In the right team, he could put a championship together."
