Alex Wurz enters the race for BAR seat

McLaren test driver Alexander Wurz is keen to get back into a full time Grand Prix drive, following his departure from Benetton back in 2000.

Before then David Richards was boss of Benetton, and was impressed with the young Austrian. With a seat at Lucky Strike BAR Honda in 2004 currently available, Richards is taking another look at Wurz, measuring him up against Jacques Villeneuve and Takuma Sato.

"I have a great respect for him," said Richards. "I think he is a very intelligent, mature driver and would be a great complement to the team. But we're not rushing into any decisions at the moment."

It'll be some time before an announcement is made, although at BAR-Talk we believe the decision has already been made.
