Rain doesn't stop play for Button
A rare sight in Spain

Despite the heavy rain that affected the early part of yesterday's final test session in Barcelona, Honda Racing F1's Jenson Button still managed to run 41 laps in the afternoon, lapping the Catalunya circuit on Bridgestone wet tyres. The planned test programme had to be abandoned, with the team concentrating on setup options for rain affected races.
Most teams ran a much reduced programme, with Force India choosing not to run at all. Toro Rosso were absent following an accident on Wednesday that left their new STR3 undriveable, while Super Aguri missed the entire test, casting doubt over their attendance at the Spanish Grand Prix in a week's time.
