Honda go fastest at Barcelona

The Honda Racing F1 Team set the fastest time of the day during yesterday's test session in Barcelona, as Rubens Barrichello lapped the Catalunya circuit on slick tyres provided by Bridgestone in preparation of a possible return to the tyre format in 2009.
On a sunny and warm day, although a very gusty day, the team spent the morning trying out a variety of new aerodynamic parts, including the now infamous 'Dumbo ears' on the nose, and a front wheel cover similar to those run by McLaren and Ferrari.
The afternoon was spent working for Bridgestone with the aforementioned slick tyres.
Rubens completed 79 laps through the day, suffering just one significant stoppage as, again, smoke started pouring from the rear of the car. In what appears to be an attempt to reduce drag, the team have closed the 'gills' on the engine cover, possibly leading to too much heat retention and the inevitable overheating.
Rubens continues in Barcelona today, with Jenson taking over for the final day tomorrow.
