Barrichello and Andretti get wet in Jerez

The Honda Racing F1 Team concluded its three-day test at the Jerez circuit in southern Spain today. After two sunny days, the weather changed overnight with wet and windy conditions hitting the circuit throughout the day.

Rubens Barrichello joined the test for the final day, taking over from Jenson Button in the RA107. In the changing track conditions and intermittent showers, Rubens spent the day working on the balance and set-up of the new chassis using both the wet and the extreme wet Bridgestone tyres, completing a total of 66 laps.

Marco Andretti continued his running in the RA106 car for a second day and had his first chance to experience a Formula One car in the wet. Covering 63 laps, Marco acquitted himself well on the changeable track conditions as he worked through further data exercises with the team.

The Honda Racing F1 Team will continue its testing programme in Barcelona from Monday 12 February.
