Rubens Barrichello joined the Honda Racing F1 Team in Jerez yesterday for the second day of this week's test, as the team prepare for 2007.

Taking over from James Rossiter in chassis RA106-02, Rubens spent his early runs finding a good balance on the car before beginning the planned test items. He ran through a suspension evaluation, alongside general car set-up work as the evaluation of the Bridgestone Potenza tyres continues. Rubens completed 105 laps in total (best lap 1:19.759, 3rd fastest) and will continue his test programme tomorrow.

Christian continued his running in chassis RA106-02, spending the day concentrating on an intensive aero programme. He then rounded off the day with some electronics set-up work, covering 99 laps in total (best lap 1:20.026, 7th fastest).

James will be back in the car tomorrow taking over from Christian in chassis RA106-06.
