Burti working again at Fiorano on tyre development

Weather: air temperature 27/31/30 °C, track 48/55/43 °C. Sunny.

Third day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Fiorano circuit. Luciano Burti was once again at the wheel, working on a development programme of various types of Bridgestone tyre.

The Scuderia’s official test driver completed a total of 101 laps, of which 6 were on the short track. The best time was a 59”253. The Scuderia continues testing at this circuit on Friday with two drivers and two cars: Michael Schumacher will be joined by Luca Badoer, both men driving F2002.
