Even though Italy is out of the World Cup, the Final still holds plenty of interest for Ferrari. What else could one expect given that the match to decide championship this Sunday 30th June, is between Germany and Brazil.

Germany and Brazil are off course the nationalities of the two Ferrari drivers, Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello.
“It’s a shame the game isn’t being played during a grand prix weekend,” said Barrichello. “It would have been fun to watch the match with Michael. Anyway, I’m sure we will talk on the phone to give the game something extra.”
“It’s going to be a nail-biting game to watch,” added Schumacher. “I congratulate Brazil for having got this far but, excuse me Rubens, obviously I hope Germany wins!” The world champion had already found it nerve wracking watching his country play South Korea in the semi-finals. “I was in a cold sweat throughout the game. But Germany played and attacked well. Now I have my fingers crossed for the final.”
Barrichello also made sure he did not miss the match, which saw Brazil beat Turkey to take a place in the final. “Maybe it wasn’t the strongest Brazilian performance, but they played well and the team can do better,” said Rubens. “But the goal got them into the final and that’s all that matters. This will be the first time that Michael and I will be supporting opposing sides,” added the Brazilian, as once again the two men will be fighting for a win. “That’s life,” replied Rubens, when asked if it was a coincidence. “It will be great fun and Brazil will win!”
Ed’s prediction – Brazil 3 Germany 1, sorry Michael!
