Shell delighted with Ferrari 1-2 at the Ring

After Ferrari’s brilliant 1-2 in Europe Shell were once again left delighted. The win at the Nurburgring means that Ferrari have been on the podium in the last 45 races and this is a major plus point for Shell as well as Ferrari.

“We are all delighted for Rubens who drove a perfect race and possibly one of the best opening laps I have ever seen.” said Shell Trackside Manager, Tobias Tasche who was delighted after the race. “For Shell, the one-two finish is the ultimate endorsement of the products and services. Seeing the dominance of the team today highlights our strength, even though Ferrari qualified, third and fourth, we came through from those positions to win the race.”

“Taking into account the mechanical stress the cars undergo throughout a race such as today’s it is satisfying to see both finish from an engineering point of view. We work hard to develop oils for the cars to protect them at these speeds and stresses and when your work pays off like this the finish is reward itself. Also, the work we do to make Ferrari win on the track follows through to the road cars products.”
