Ross Brawn has told Williams and McLaren to look closer to home if they want reasons for why Ferrari can dictate race results as they did today in Hungary. As a team Ferrari decided that it was Barrichello’s turn today and our rivals only have themselves to blame!

Speaking after the Ferrari 1-2 in Hungary with Rubens Barrichello winning in a pre-organised decision by the team Ross Brawn has told McLaren and Williams to look at their own lack of performance before slating Ferrari for doing what a top team can. Brawn is sick of the constant criticism aimed at Ferrari as they use their superior advantage to play the team game.
At the start of the 1998 season Ferrari had to suffer at the hands of McLaren, but they never bucked to whinging in the media about it being boring, they got on with their job and produced the goods. And now that the team are reaping the benefits of many years of hard work Brawn fully backs the way the team can dictate races. This is something they would not be able to do if Williams or McLaren could rise to the level set by the Scuderia.
"In 1998 we were trashed by Mclaren at Melbourne and we came back,” said Brawn. “We did everything we could to come back. If anyone's at fault for what you saw today it's McLaren and Williams and Michelin. It's not us. You drive a racing car as hard as you need to and that's what we did today."
Brawn’s comments are 100% right. Ferrari are perfectly entitled to use their advantage to their own gains and not to worry about what they think about it. Ferrari do not need to run 100% on the limit every race, they can get into the positions they need and cruise home as we seen today. Its not up to Ferrari to slow down, its purely at the door of our rivals to speed up and make us work more for the wins. Sadly that does not seem to be going to happen.
