Jordan have points finally.

Jordan have scored eleven world championship points under the strangest circumstances ever seen in Grand Prix history. Only six cars took to the grid after a full parade lap.

Ferrari, Jordan and Minardi (all Bridgestone runners) took the start.  Michelin couldn't guarantee the safety of their teams and drivers after two of it's tyres failed during the Friday practice sessions.

The tyres were not safe and the Michelin teams asked the FIA to place a chicane at turn 13 to slow the cars and hopefully saving the tyres, however the FIA refused to do this as it could have disadvantaged the Bridgestone runners. (Ferrari).

Jordan however completed the 73 lap race, Tiago finished in 3rd place out of the six, gaining six points for the team.  Narain finished in 4th place, giving the team 11 world championship points albeit hollow points.

Clearly a muted race for the fans the boos were in evidence but for us Jordan Fans pleasing to see that the team will gain much needed finances in TV revenue.

Full race review and quotes later.
