Jordan Qualifying Review.

Jordan's 2004 lead driver proved just how fast he is today with a his first ever Formula One pole position. Nick Heidfeld lead the way at the Nurburgring, however Jordan's drivers fared less well at the other end of the grid.

Narain was first to go for Jordan and showed that the team have no investment in the current chassis.  His time around the circuit was beaten by both Christijan Albers and Partrick Friesacher prompting comments of "worry" from the ITV commentary team.

Tiago fared better and looked like he was in more control of the EJ15.  Tiago showed that the Jordan is still faster and better than the Minardi, hopefully wiping the smile of Paul Stoddards face.  "I am very happy with my qualifying lap, which was very clean with no mistake." he said afterwards.  "I felt confident in the car so I was able to push really hard. We have made some changes with my engineers after the two sessions this morning and it was very helpful.   I am now looking forward to driving tomorrow and I hope we will be able to finish the race and maybe be in the points."

Narain was third out onto the circuit and suffered from a slightly dusty surface at the German circuit.  "The track temperature was very high, I think it was close to 50 degrees Celsius, therefore my car was quite difficult to drive." he said.  "I have also made a small mistake, which cost me some time. Now we will focus on improving the car for my first race in Nurburgring tomorrow."

Tiago finished in 17th place, Narain was 19th.
