More staff movement at Jordan

It would appear that talk of an exodus at Jordan was not overly exaggerated now that Midland are making their presence felt just days after purchasing the team.

Eddie Jordan has already cleared his office according to reports in this weeks Autosport magazine.  PR Office Helen Temple recently announced her intention to leave the team and now, well respected pitpass.com reports that Technical wiz, Mark Smith has walked, just weeks after joining the team to oversee Toyota's involvement.

Jordan Fans Online was also told recently of another member of staff who was planning to leave by mid february so perhaps there is going to be an outpouring of emotion from the staff who have remained totally loyal to Eddie and the team philosophy for so many years.

While the takeover of the team by Alex Shnaider and the Midland group is no doubt a good thing for the survival of Formula One, they must not be allowed to wreck the team and their attitude to the sport.  Jordan is a world wide brand and to see this teams history and attitude being destroyed from the inside is galling to the thousands if not millions of fans.

So, Mr Shnaider, if you are reading this, from the heart of one Jordan fan to the mind of a motor racing fan, please do not forget what this team has achieved over the last 14 years.  Do not set about destroying a team with the most loyal fans in F1.  If you want Midland F1 to survive longer than the Ford backed Jaguar managed then remember where your support comes from.  It's not likely to be there come Melbourne if the news remains negative.

We all await your plans for our team.
