Giancarlo Fisichella placed his Jordan EJ12 into the top ten after Saturday Morning Practice. Takuma fared less well as he lost control at the first corner of the Monaco street circuit.
Taku turned into the first corner adn hit the kerb. The kerb then launched Taku across the circuit and into the barriers on the other side of the circuit.
He damaged the front left of the car. Eddie Jordan was hopeful that the car could be repaired, after all, the team only have three cars at this event due to Taku's huge accident at the A1 Ring in Austria. The spare car is set up for Takuma, perhaps in anticipation of such an incident.
Admitedly, Taku was in a bit of company today as Kimi Raikonnen managed to thump the barrier at the same place. Eddie Irvine suffered a suspension failure at the Swimming Pool section and perhaps loosing control on fluids from Eddies car, Mark Webber hit the barrier in much the same place.
