Jordan have dropped their lawsuit against Vodafone according to a High Court Hearing in London. The much publicised lawsuit could have cost Jordan upwards of £2 million if the case had failed.
No reason has been given by Jordan as to why the case has been dropped, however the Judge, Mr Justice Langley said he won't publish his verdict on the case until Monday afternoon to give Jordan a chance to appeal.
Which seems a bit odd! Why would Jordan drop the case if they were on to a winner as suggested by Pitpass. http://www.pitpass.com/news2/news.cfm?newsid=6980
We can speculate on the reasons but obviously only Jordan know why. My theory is that Jordan have found a major sponsor who want the Vodafone case dropped, perhaps a telecoms rival who may be affiliated in some way to BT? Anyway, it's just a theory!
