Ralph Firman has continued to set consistent lap times in his familiarisation with the EJ13. Over the course of 43 laps, Ralph set a best of 1m13.697seconds, just few tenths down on his time from yesterday.
The team were thwarted by engine oil and hydraulic leaks, however productive work was done with respect to driver familiarisation and setup work
Gary Anderson, "It was quite a ‘stop-start’ day because of the small problems so it was slightly more challenging for Ralph today, but he is finding his feet and doing a very competent job. Drivers have to adapt to grooved tyres when they have been used to slicks, and it’s encouraging that Ralph hasn’t put a wheel wrong in two days."
Fisi will be back in the car tomorrow and both drivers will be present in Barcelona next week.
