Alonso is second fastest in final practice at Singapore

Fernando Alonso posted the second best time of the day, when he finished behind Sebastian Vettel, at the final free practice session for the Singapore GP.
Fernando posted a time of 1:48:650 to Vettel's 1:48:028, while Felipe Massa was the fourth fastest with a time of 1:49:023, behind Lewis Hamilton's Mclaren.
It was damp conditions at the circuit due to rains before the session started, and the track is not expected to dry off completed before the qualifying begins, just under two hours from now.
The Ferrari team were running without their f-duct solution, while the Mclaren team were struggling to find the best set-up for the high downforce track.
The final flying lap was however cut down short in the final minutes when Bruno Senna of HRT went in to the run-off area at Turn 18, which brought in the yellow flags.
The reigning champion, Jenson Button was struggling to find the right set up and his best lap was beyond the top ten fastest laps for the day.
Yesterday, the team's practice was hampered when Fernando lost control of the car and then stalled it while reversing, much to the dismay of the team, as important data on the final 20 minutes couldn't be collected.
Nevertheless, for Ferrari, things are looking brighter, as they are looking faster than the Mclaren and doesn't seem much far away from the Red Bulls.
It remains to be seen in which position Alonso qualifies, as a podium finish is very important for him to keep his title fight alive, and the circuit doesn't offer much in terms of overtaking.
