No further punishment for Ferrari on team orders

Ferrari has escaped getting further punishment from the World Motor Sport Council for allegedly employing team orders at the German grand prix.
The WMSC met today at Paris to discuss whether Ferrari should be penalised further, in what appeared or alleged team orders that saw Felipe Massa concede his lead position in the German GP race to his team-mate Fernando Alonso.
The team was fined $100,000 after the race by the FIA stewards, and referred the case for further hearing to WMSC.
However, Angelo Sticchi Damiani, head of the Italian motorsport federation the CSAI, told reporters outside the meeting that the WMSC had unanimously agreed not to impose any further sanctions on Ferrari.
Ferrari has claimed that Massa has conceded the lead on his own, despite his race engineer Rob Smedley informing him that Alonso was faster.
Former President of FIA, Max Mosley were one of the many who called for further punishement of Ferrari.
This decision would now put Fernando Alonso in a good position to fight for the driver's championship this season, with six more races to go.
