Rare win for Crusaders

A superb team effot from the Crusaders gave Middlesex only there third win in a one-day match this season under the lights at Chelmsford.

in a stop-start mode with the Middlesex batsmen looking to post a big total. Things were going well at 150/3 but four wickets for no runs made a score of 200 seem a long way off. However a partnership of 57 between Nash and James Dalrymple saw things change and Middlesex closed on 209/8.
an impressive run rate but lost too many early wickets to mount a serious threat. Things were worrying for a time as Essex went along at the required run rate but excellent bowling from Laramann and man of the match Dalrymple saw the Crusaders home.
