On wednesday the FIA has decide that Ide's super licence should be revoked, this means that Ide will no longer play a part in F1. Montagny will replace him.

Yuji Ide's lack of pace, a few spins and a shunt with Albers has caused the FIA to first advised Super Aguri to drop the 32 year old Japanese driver. But now it is revealed the FIA has stuck the knife in and revoked his Super licence. It is a safe bet to say that Ide will not be back in an F1 car anytime soon. Replacing him for the foreseeable future will be Montagny; he will be partnering Takuma Sato in Barcelona this week.
