The speculation is over. Super Aguri is now owned by the Magma group, "a unique enterprise, created to address issues and capitalize on opportunities in the automotive and technology sectors caused by changing global situations and market conditions".
The drivers for 2008 have been confirmed. Takuma Sato and Anthony Davidson will keep their jobs. Both drivers say they have been training hard for this season. Aguri Suzuki is happy with this, since he wanted both drivers to continue the work they did last season.
Super Aguri will also continue their relationship with Honda regarding engine supply and technical cooperation.
According to the Formula 1 website, the SA08 will make its first appearance at Friday's opening practice in Melbourne. As Sato said, the team's Winter preparation was not as comprehensive as they hoped for, but he underlines the team's fighting spirit to overcome those difficulties.
A shame that SA had this "black cloud" hanging over their heads so long, & that it spoiled their off-season testing. At least its over now; best of luck in '08!
