Practice session 2 Super Aguri satisfied

Kimi Raikkonen remained top of the charts in Friday afternoon’s practice 2 in Bahrain but Raikkonen didn’t have it easy. Lewis Hamilton pushed him all the way and decreased the gap to a tiny 0.013s but still Ferrari looks like the pace setter for the Bahrain Gp

It looks like it will be a close qualifying hour and a close race between McLaren and Ferrari with both teams showing their potential today in both Friday sessions. While Robert Kubica tries to make up for a dismal Sepang grand prix and fights all the way to 3rd at the sharp end of the grid. Massa makes a solid 4th but fails to get into the top three will Ferrari be pushed out of locking the front row tomorrow? World champion Fernando Alonso completes his work for the Woking team and ends 5th will this be his first time off the podium this season? Or is there a lot more to come from the Spaniard?

Wurz ends a strong day for Williams in 6th with Heidfeld 7th and Rosberg 8th but will reliability hinder the team’s performance again? Coulthard gives Red Bull hope as pulls them out from the back end of the time sheets to a solid 9th but will he fail to make the shoot out session tomorrow? Jarno Trulli tumbles down the time sheets to a distant 10th 5 places dropped from the earlier session.

Barrichello continues to give hope to the Honda earth team as he runs to a respective 11th place with Kovalainen hanging on to 12th, with problems of his own. Anthony Davidson makes a big gain from yesterday ending the day in 13th finding a good balance with the tyres. Mark Webber gives Red Bull wings and flies them to 14th place taking them out of the back of the sheets but only by a few places.
Fisichella takes 15th and Takuma Sato 16th happy with the consistency of the car with Liuzzi back down in 17th from 8th in the earlier session.

Ralf Schumacher has an unspectacular afternoon hanging on in 18th, with Sutil making his debut in formula one finishes 19th with the difficult and uncompetitive Spyker with Speed with non in 20th and Albers 21st and Jenson Button rounding us off with an engine failure in plum last having no luck this afternoon.
