Testing round up day 2 in Sepang

On the second day of testing the ice man Kimi Raikkonen lead the way to round up day 2 on the Malaysian track. The Ferrari driver out paced the field setting a 1m35.258s half a second quicker than anyone else.

The Finn was believed to be working on set up work, electronic and aero developments in readiness for the Sepang race. Alex Wurz continued his pace from day 1 in 2nd concentrating again on one lap pace but will they have the race pace to back this up? David Coulthard catapolted the Red Bull team into 3rd followed by Ralf Schumacher in 4th working on different set ups in the hot conditions.

Robert Kubica dropped to 5th in the Bmw Sauber after setting the fastest time on day 1 he was belived to be working on, tyre options and completed most laps out of anyone that day. McLaren rookie and Media loved Lewis Hamilton drove in a 1m36.115s for his first time around the circuit just ahead of our hopeful Takuma Sato in 7th who was focusing on long runs, to evaluate the durability and degradation of the Bridgestone tyres for next weeks race in Sepang.

Takuma also outpaced both works team Hondas who are still having stability problems with there chasis in 8th and 10th. Hekki Kovalainen had a problem free day running in 9th while our hero Anthony Davidson finished in 11th after resting his back troubles from Oz. He took over from Taku in the afternoon running through a few set up changes and will continue the main work load in tommorows test. Toro rosso drivers Speed who didnt seem to have any and Liuzzi rounded up the day at the back of the grid.
