Davidson to prove himself

The former Honda test driver has been in the shadows for a long time, with only occasional and unsuccessful grand prix attempts. Now Davidson finally has his chance to shine during his full season of F1 racing.

"The nerves will probably start on Sunday morning when I realise I'll be racing instead of just going home, when I was the Friday practice driver I'd usually go home on Saturday evening or Sunday morning and get ready for the next test."

Davidson aims to silence his critics and prove that his speed was more then just friday fumes, "It was strange flying back from the last test in Bahrain thinking I'll be racing again soon, this is my chance though and I have to prove myself as I know there are still some doubters out there."
