Amid all the rumours of financial disaster, Midland F1 Racing have found time to do some testing on the M16 at Silverstone. Ahead of a major three day test session at the end of April, the team took two days at the British GP venue and used the South Circuit to test run some tests on new aero parts
Christijan took the wheel during yesterdays test (Tiago is in Portugal at the moment) and Giorgio Mondini took over for day two.
Dominic Harlow commented that the results of the test were in line with the results that came out of the teams predictions and the modifications should now make their race debut at the San Marino Grand Prix in Imola.
A showery day two saw the team running along Tower Straight with a complete control systems test. Giorgio completed 56 test starts, testing improvements to the launch control systems.
MF1O was at the test (at least, Huw was) so expect to see some photographs and a full report later today.
