Midland have been busy this week getting themselves ready for 2006, and today comes the announcement of yet another infrastructure deal - this time with MAN trucks.

MAN trucks, who have offices in the UK just outside Bristol, already sponsor race driver Christian Albers announced today that they will support Midland F1 Racing. The commercial vehicle supplier will deliver 10 new tractor units to the team, which will be repainted in their racing colours at the beginning of next year. Several internet sources are reporting that MAN have a two year deal with Midland.

Collin Kolles echoed the sentiment in the introduction to this story, that the team are well on track to putting in place the peices needed to build a strong team. "Everything is starting to go in the right direction," he has been quoted as saying. "We (are)try(ing) to build a strong future in F1 and this only works with the right partners. We are happy that MAN will supply the trucks to the team and that they continue to support our driver Christijan Albers. MAN is one of the leading truck brands in the world and they suit our ambitions."

All of us here at MFO are looking forward to seeing the new racing livery on the trucks. What's the chance of seeing them ready for the December Jerez test ?
