Will Markus get to drive in Australia?

The media have got themselves into a right pickle today speculating whether Markus Winkelhock will or will not be driving in Melbourne next weekend.
The source of the speculation seems to arise from a quote released by GMM apparently given by Markus at the shakedown of the third Spyker F8-VII chassis at Silverstone last week.
"It is not certain when I will drive the car again," the German driver is reported to have admitted, "but I will be the spare driver in Melbourne and participate in all the meetings." However, according to adrivo.com the driver told them that he is not scheduled to appear as third driver with the team.
GMM beleive that the uncertainty comes about due to the fact that it is not clear whether Giedo van der Garde has earned his super license, and that this could be set back due to the contractual dispute between Spyker F1 and Super Aguri.
GMM beleive that van der Garde will also be travelling with the team to Melbourne, and if he is granted a Super License then it is he who will drive the third car on Friday.
