MS relegated to the back of the grid.

I am a fan of Ferarri, and always will be. I say this so that those who doubt me, and my thoughts and words, will understand where I come from (even though I'm also the publisher of bmwsauberf1talk.com), I know where I started from way back when. Lotus and Ferarri!

Ferarri is, to me, the consumate team. They have demonstrated with out a doubt, their single minded focus in developing a winning team. Not a small task by any stretch of the imagination!

The folk at the factory, that actually design, build, and test the cars and components. The race crew... mechanics, engineers, fuelers...and finally drivers. Like Michael Schumacker.

I personally don't understand why MS stalled his car in Q3 at Rascasse, its most unusual...after his accident at the British GP, he kept the car running for 5 minutes! (I'm kidding, but MS does know how to keep his car up and running, last time I remember him stalling a car, was back in the Benneton days!). So, he doesn't stall cars. Period!

Ferarri, nor the FIA Race Stewards have granted me access to any data submitted by Ferarri, so I find myself going out on a limb here... in that I don't think this was a deliberate move by MS.

I don't think there was a purposeful intention by MS to bring out a yellow flag, on the dying seconds of the Q3.

Rules, as sanctioned by FIA, are in full print, and known by all teams. Its up to all the teams to exploit those rules to their full potential! Some get caught in misinterpretation, others don't.

This was, another brain fart by MS. Its not as though he hasn't had them before...he has.

Intentional? I don't think so.

I also think the penalty is gross, and overly punative. Above and beyond the 'other' incident, where Fisi loses his best 3 times.

Michael is human, there is no doubt. The fact he is 7 times WCC is fact, but he is still capable of making some really stupid mistakes, and FIA doing this, is just wrong.
