This weeks testing results are unconclusive

The fundamental problem, is that the teams are still in experimental mode, and with the exception of Renault, none of the others have rolled out the 'new car' yet!

Some teams are running last years chassis, modified to take their v8 powerplant, as we see with the BMWSauberF1 Team running a 2005 Sauber C24B.

Ferarri are out there with an F2004 mod, running a v8 spec engine too. They are also running the F2005 in restricted and unrestricted formats.

That amazing looking McLaren, I believe is running an unrestricted v10.

Honda, a hybrid to accept the v8.

The times will be up, the times will be down.

Some of the teams, may in fact, sandbag, to make the others think that they have little in the way of performance - Speed!

The BMWSauberF1 Teams new contender, to be launched next week, and tested next week, will finally give us, the fans, something to look forward to.

I hope its quick out of the box, and easy enough to dial in and I'm sure that the rest of you echo my sentiments, when I say this.

However, if its not, remember, this is just testing. Its better that we get the bugs out of the system now, get the problems sorted out now, than in Bahrain in March!
