Briatore confirms Kovalainen as Renault driver

In an interview with 'Autosprint', Briatore dismissed Kovalainen joining BMW for 2006, saying 'there is no truth in the rumours of him racing for BMW in 2006.'

Briatore continued on to say that Kovalainen will continue in the development program, as did Fernando Alonso.
Which again, for me, says that BMW will have JV in the car shortly. The list of 'potential' candidates has pretty much dried up at this point.

They (BMW) may not like JV, and are probably chomping at the bit 'cause the other options have pretty much evaporated.

Time they stop pissing around, and name JV as the second driver!
