Better late than never, being my mot du jour, I belatedly bring you yesterdays... Sauber Motorsports C30...and she is a real beauty!

Better late than never, being my mot du jour, I belatedly bring you yesterdays... Sauber Motorsports C30...and she is a real beauty!

This being Tuesday night for me in fact...and the C30 already having run a respectful sixth on the timesheet, albiet a short routine today, and Spain being some 5 hours ahead of me, I missed yesterday's launch ( I didn't really...didn't have time to write an article after unfortunately...thats life though), here on Sportnet.

My bad...but thats the way it is. I did however upload some new pics from Sauber Motorsport, showcasing the new car, the unveilling, Koybayashi taking it out for a run, static display shots and stuff, and I'll do my best to display them here.

First pic tonight though (yes it is night here...its 9:23pm), will be a great pic...it's got Peter in it!

Feels good to be checking the daily F1 news again. I like the looks of the C30. Obviously we'll have to wait and see for first qualy to start judging, but it's certainly nice to see some sponsorship on the car! Sounds like it could still be a tough year money wise, but I think they are taking good steps after almost losing the team from BMW. Overall I am optomistic about 2011, but I don't like the look of the new Sauber jackets. Too HRT-ish...

As we now have Jose Cuervo on board, I propose a challenge to all the Sauber fans out there: Every time Kobayashi makes a pass, we take a shot of tequila! Should make the races more entertaining. Although I seem to remember from my younger days tequila not mixing well with my stomach, so maybe you guys know some good tequila mixes to lessen the blow to my stomach?

Mike, nice shot (I like that Monisha is included), but maybe a bit of cropping? I would need 3 monitors to see the whole photo.

Hey SauberF1-Canada...I think you may have something there with the pic cropping there...I downloaded everything in hi res...not thinking about final size here! Lesson learned!

Now to serious subjects...vis a vis the tequila...as we know Koybayashi is a proliferate passer when given the smallest hint of an chance to pass...and he will again and again this season!

Im also with you on the mixed down drinks...as most of the races start here at 7am...I really don't need to be ripped by 9am if Koby has a barnstormer of a race!

Wow, 7am...you're lucky! On the west coast it's 5am for me, 430am for the pre-race (Sm105)...But I'm too old to watch the european races live anymore.

As for the tequila, a quick internet search revealed plenty of tequila mixed drinks, so I will take it upon myself to try a new one for each race grinning smiley I will post receipes and the results (of the drinking).
