Sauber making progress with 2011 budget amid TELMEX rumours

Peter Sauber sounded very optimistic of solving the team's sponsorship issues but nothing has been settled yet. "There is a good possibility for new partners and we are working very hard on that. "We're sure we will have more colour on the car next year. I don't know what basic colour - it depends on the sponsor."
Various outlets are reporting a possible deal with Carlos Slim and the TELMEX firm. One of TELMEX's notable racing endeavours is with Chip Ganassi's 24 H of Daytona ptototype team, led by Juan Pablo Montoya.
Slim's involvement has prompted the inevitable link with Mexican candidates for on of the 2 open cockpits for next year, such as Pastor Maldonado.
