Nick Heidfeld is back on track. He has been the most successful driver over the past four Grands Prix, picking up 21 points. The 31-year-old sees the support from within the team as the secret of his success .

Nick has been part of the BMW Sauber F1 Team since the first race for the team from Munich and Hinwil. 2008 has, so far, been his most successful year in motor sport's elite class. Nick believes his three podium finishes and two fastest laps can largely be credited to excellent team spirit. "I feel very confident in the team," says Nick. "I have a lot of backing, even when I had problems, which was really helpful."

Nick is also very confident about the future of the BMW Sauber F1 Team. "As we have achieved all the targets that we have set ourselves so far, our target for next year is to fight for the championship. Of course, I would like to stay with the team for that."

Next up for the BMW Sauber F1 Team driver is the Hungarian Grand Prix. Following test sessions in Jerez, Spain, Nick said: "I am pretty confident that we will be able to show a good level of performance in Budapest." Last year, Nick stepped onto the podium in third place in Budapest.
