Productive day at Jerez despite hydraulic failures

Today the BMW Sauber Team began testing at Jerez. Even though Kubica and Vettel could not complete many laps, the results were very positive, as they collected valuable data, especially on the aero side and set-up, and set good times.

 

Test in Jerez 6th February – 8th February 2007
Day one – Tuesday

Programme:   Sebastian started the day doing a baseline set-up. He made several starts and an aerodynamic comparison. Robert also did some aero evaluations. He then began working on the set-up and was able to make considerable progress. Both drivers lost time due to hydraulic problems.

What comes next:   Tomorrow, Robert will continue his planned programme, while Nick Heidfeld will take over from Sebastian.
