Bolton Preview: Never A Good Time.... But Today?

Generally there is never a good time to play Bolton Wanderers home or away. A gritty in your face physical side that can play football under the tenureship of Owen Coyle. However Bolton's start to the season has been poor. They are rock bottom, they have suffered five straight defeats and lost 10 of their last eleven league games.

Bolton are beset with injuries and suspensions to make their problems even worse.

Stuart Holden, Chang-Yong Lee, Sam Ricketts and Tyrone Mears are on Bolton's long-term injury list.

Goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen is doubtful with a leg injury. David Wheater and Ivan Klasnic are suspended and Gael Kakuta is ineligible to play.

Chelsea have won on their last eight visits to The Reebok, the most famous victory was the 2-0 win which secured Chelsea's first League title in fifty years and Chelsea's last two League visits have been resounding 4-0 wins.

The last time Bolton breached Chelsea's defence was back in 2002 when the game ended 1-1 and since then Chelsea have scored eighteen goals in the eight winning games.

Fernando Torres serves the first of his three match suspension, so there could be a starting place for Danny Sturridge, who was so impressive on loan at The Reebok last season, and there should be a welcome recall to the starting line-up for the 'best defensive centre-forward in the world,' Didier Drogba.

With Man Utd and Money Citeh both winning yesterday, nothing less than a win WILL DO!!
