Alonso 4th with the fastest lap

Fernando Alonso had a great race today as he finished 4th and set the fastest lap. Even if Fernando Alonso's Renault was lacking engine power he did a great race today finishing 4th and setting the fastest lap.

The race was won by Michael Schumacher followed by his brother and by Juan Pablo Montoya.

Alonso could not overtake Montoya on the latest stages of the race as Michael was going slower but was able to maintain the leading position.

His teammate, Jarno Trulli had a very tough race and had to abandon.

The lack of power made it impossible for him to overtake Montoya for the podium.

Barrichello finished 5th after an incident full race included a go with Alonso on the early stages. Kimi Raikkonen finished 6th after exiting from the pits.
