Second row for Alonso at Canada!

A great result for the Renault F1 driver today has placed him on the second row. Alonso finished 4th today on the qualifying of the Canadian GP.

He was more than half a second slower than pole sitter Ralf Schumacher.

Ralf was followed by his teammate Juan Pablo Montoya to make an all Williams front row. Third was Michael Schumacher who was 1/1000 of a second faster than the Spaniard finishing third.

Rubens Barrichello finished 5th followed by Australian Mark Webber on 6th.

Alonso's teammate Jarno Trulli finished 8th today more than 1 second shy of Ralf Schumacher.

A difficult session today for the McLaren drivers as David Coulthard could only finish 10th and Kimi Raikkonen went off and will start tomorrow from the back of the grid.
